The Bid Opening date for this project is still scheduled for October 10, 2013.          
          
The attention of prospective bidders is directed to the following revisions, additions, and/or deletions to           
the Invitation for Bids Booklet and/or Contract Plan Sheets; the Contractor is directed to make any Pen           
and Ink changes to the Contract Documents as described. Corrected pages/sheets will not be provided           
for Pen and Ink changes:

From - Spread footings for the salt barn……          
To - Spread footings for the salt barn should be at least 2 feet wide and buttress footings           
should be at least 2 feet wide and 12 feet long. Spread footings should be designed           
using an allowable bearing capacity (qall) of 2,500 pounds per square foot (psf).

1. Detail D “Bollard” has been revised to show an 8” diameter bollard with a height           
of 6’ above finished grade.          
          
C-301 MICRO-BIORETENTION #1 PLAN AND SECTIONS          
1. The anchor trench for the impermeable liner has been removed. The impermeable liner will           
now be extended 5 feet beyond edge of micro-bioretention facility and covered with soil.          
2. In the Micro-Bioretention MDE Tabulations table, “Filter Bed Bottom” has been revised to           
read “Facility Bottom Elevation”.          
3. Design values in the Micro-Bioretention MDE Tabulations table have been updated.          
          
C-302 MICRO-BIORETENTION #2 PLAN AND SECTIONS          
1. The geotextile has been revised to show it extended 5 feet beyond edge of micro-bioretention           
facility and covered with soil.          
2. In the Micro-Bioretention MDE Tabulations table, “Filter Bed Bottom” has been revised to           
read “Facility Bottom Elevation”.          
3. Design values in the Micro-Bioretention MDE Tabulations table have been updated.

C-306 DETENTION BASIN PLAN AND SECTIONS          
1. Section B-B has been revised to show a trash rack for the low flow orifice on Inlet I-2.          
2. A trash rack detail has been added.          
3. An Emergency Spillway Section has been added.          
          
C-402 EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN          
1. The two Riprap Inflow Protections have been revised to be Gabion Inflow Protections.          
2. The super silt fence downstream of ES-1 has been removed. The area surrounding the           
detention pond outfall pipe shall be stabilized according to Same-Day Stabilization           
practices.          
3. The super silt fence across from the sediment trap outfall shall be removed once the trap is           
constructed.          
          
S-201 GENERAL NOTES, DETAILS AND SECTIONS          
1. Detail E “Retaining Wall” has been revised to add a callout for the reinforcing in the          
retaining wall footing.          
2. Foundation Note 11 has been added.          
          
A-104 VEHICLE STORAGE – PLAN & ELEVATIONS          
1. The exterior hood at the section overhead door on the Building Elevations has been           
removed.          
          
A-401 SALT BARN – PARTIAL PLAN & ELEVATIONS          
1. Detail 10 “Typical Locker Elevation” has been revised to show 6 lockers.          
          
A-602 DOOR SCHEDULE AND DETAILS          
1. Doors V101.2 and V101.3 have been revised to be Steel in the Door Schedule.          
2. The bollard callout on the “J-5 Jamb” detail has been revised to show the bollard           
as 6’ above finished floor.          
          
E-102 PARTIAL PLAN – ATS, GENERATOR AND MDP          
1. Detail B “Partial Plan – Brine Bump” has been revised to show the brine pump          
controllers.          
2. Drawing Note #10 has been revised.          
3. Drawing Note #11 has been revised.          
4. Drawing Note #14 has been added.

(as applicable) that have been replaced by this Addendum, and insert the revised Invitation for Bids           
pages and contract drawings (as applicable) in their proper sequence.           
          
Attach this Addendum letter to the front cover of the Invitation for Bids booklet prior to submitting your           
bid.
