CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS

INCLUDED IN THIS RESPONSE ARE CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS RECEIVED AS OF
04/23/2012.

The following questions were received from plan purchasers. The responses
are provided for clarification to all bidders in bold after the
questions:

Q1: Reference plant schedule on Sheet LD-02 of 04. Plant material
specified at 2.5” caliper and/or 8’ height is called for in #7
containers. It is unlikely these plant sizes will be available in the #7
containers. Please confirm plant sizes indicated supercede the container
size referenced.

A: This is to confirm that plant sizes indicated supercede the container
size referenced.  The container size reference will be revised to read
“B&B”.  Due to availability, a smaller size of Alnus serrulata (Smooth
Alder) will be required (5 foot height/#3 container).

Q2: Reference plant schedule on Sheet LD-02 of 04. American holly is
specified at 8’ height, and #5 containers. It is unlikely this plant will
be available in a #5 container. Please confirm plant size indicated
supersedes the container size referenced.

A: This is to confirm that plant sizes indicated supercede the container
size referenced.  The container size reference has been revised to read
“B&B”.

Q3: Reference sheets LS-01 of 04 and LD-02 of 04. The plant schedule on
Sheet LS-01 calls for 2.25” x 5” deep plugs, but the plant schedule on
LD-02 calls for emergent in only 2” plugs. Please clarify if there is a
reason for two different plug sizes, or if all emergent are to be one
size, and if so, which one.

A: This is to confirm that plug size is “2 1/4” x 5” Deep”.  The plug
size will be revised.
