INCLUDED IN THIS RESPONSE ARE CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS RECEIVED AS OF           
1/25/2016.          
          
The following questions were received from plan purchasers. The responses are provided for           
clarification to all bidders in bold after the questions:          
          
Q19: Item 2001 – Class 1 Excavation: Item quantity on the IFB is 1,050 cubic yards. The           
grading table in the plans on sheet 64 of 64 has a quantity of 10,372 cubic yards as           
computed from the cross sections. Which quantity is correct? Our take-off quantity for           
Class 1 Excavation from the cross sections is around 3,600 cubic yards.          
          
A19: The correct quantity for Class 1 Excavation is 2,934 cubic yards. The plans,           
estimate and Schedule of Prices have been updated accordingly.           
          
          
CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS (continued)          
          
Q20: Plan Sheet 17 of 64 – Items for Standard Type A Curb 8" x 16" and Adjust Existing Inlet           
Tops are called out. There are no bid items in the bid item form for these particular           
items. Are they incidental to the entire project? After visiting the project site, it appears           
as if these items have already been completed.          
          
A20: An item to Adjust Existing Inlet Top has been added to the estimate. Standard           
Type A Curb 8" x 16" will remain in the contract plans and has been added to the estimate.          
          
Q21: Item 8020 – Sewer Cleanouts: No locations or details are given in the plans for this item.           
What size pipe or what type pipe is given. This information is needed to price this item.          
          
A21: Item 8020 – Sewer Cleanouts is to be used in storm water management facilities 1           
and 3. Please refer to the Contract Plans Stormwater Management Details Plan           
Sheet No. 32 and 33.
