Q20:	Are the signs shown on plan sheet 66 paid under bid item 1026?

Q21: 	We have checked with our suppliers of HDPE and they have told us that there is no such            
	thing as elliptical HDPE pipe as specified for bid item 4001. Please clarify.           
           
A21:	A special provision for this bid item is included in this addendum.           
           
Q22: 	Bid item 7004 is 199,000 sy of placing salvaged topsoil. Per the grading tables, there isn't            
	any topsoil on this project. Please clarify.           
           
A22:	Bid item 7004 (701345) has been deleted per this addendum.           
           
Q23: 	Please verify the quantities for the asphalt items, 5001, 5003, 5004 and 5006 as they seem            
	to be 16% to 17% high.

Q24: 	Please provide a grading table or additional breakdown information for the 54,400 CY of            
	Class 1 Excavation shown on the grading table (plan sheet 357) as Drainage, ESC & SWM.

Q25: 	There is a note on plan sheet 168 that says that the cost of excavation for sediment traps            
	is incidental to Class 1 Excavation for SWM Facility. Is the trap excavation paid as Class            
	1 Excavation or incidental and not measured or paid? Please clarify.

A25:	The cost of sediment traps, which are located at the same location as SWM facilities            
	is incidental to Class 1 excavation for SWM facility as noted on the plan.  Therefore,            
	the trap excavation for those is paid as Class I excavation and incidental for SWM facility.           
           
Q26. 	Please provide details for the temp. gabion outlet structures, bid item 3065, and also for            
	gabion inflow protection, bid item 3066.           
           
A26:	 The temporary gabion outlet structures and gabion inflow protection are standard            
	E&S control and the detail is included on page E.21 and D.12 respectively in 2011            
	Maryland Standards and Specifications for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control manual.           
           
Q27:	Detail sheets DS-07, DS-08 and DS-09 show barrier transitions.  How are these items to            
	be paid ?           
		How is the #57 aggregate to be paid?           
		How is the 5” concrete cap to be paid?           
           
A27:	The concrete barrier transition will be paid as 42 inch F Shape Concrete Median as            
	indicated in Note 5 on DS-07, DS-08 and DS-09.           
           
Q28:	Item 7006 Temporary Seed – the special provision states this item will be paid by the SY,            
	the bid item is by the Pound.  Could this be corrected?           
           
A28:	Item 7006 (705405) has been revised.           
           
Q29:	The Special Provisions state the Reinforced Soil Slopes will be measured and paid for for            
	at the Contract unit price per vertical square foot.  The vertical height will be measured            
	between the elevation of reinforcement top layer and the elevation of reinforcement            
	bottom layer. The horizontal distance will be measured from the edge to edge of the            
	reinforced area along the centerline.  There is no bid item for Reinforced Soil Slopes;            
	please advise
