Please be advised that the Bid Opening date for this contract is still            
scheduled for November 25, 2014.           
           
The attention of prospective bidders is directed to the following            
revisions, additions and/or deletions to the Invitation for Bids book.

INCLUDED IN THIS RESPONSE ARE CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS RECEIVED AS OF            
11/12/2014.           
           
The following questions were received from plan purchasers. The responses            
are provided for clarification to all bidders in bold after the            
questions:           
           
Q 1:	Special Provisions – Subcontractors for Specialized Construction 9            
(page 181) under measurement for payment states that the price for this            
item had been established & not altered by the contractor.  The proposal            
form item 3003 subcontractors for specialized construction (page 298) has            
a quantity of 1 but no price has been established on the form.  Does SHA            
intent to establish a price?           
           
           
A1:	Page 298 was revised to add the pre-established price for Item No.            
3003 (300000) “SUBCONTRACTORS FOR SPECIALIZED CONSTRUCTION” of            
$270,000.00.           
           
Q 2:	Are material suppliers who deliver their products to project sites            
required to pay their drivers the applicable prevailing wage rate and            
provide certified payrolls for these drivers?           
           
A2:	No.           
           
Q3:	Is the Prime Contractor or any Subcontractor delivering materials            
to project sites or between project sites material required to pay their            
drivers the applicable prevailing wage rate and provide certified            
payrolls for these drivers?           
           
A3:	No.           
           
Before submitting your bid, please remove any existing Invitation for            
Bids pages that have been replaced by this Addendum No. 1, and insert the            
revised Invitation for Bids pages in their proper sequence.  Attach this            
Addendum letter to the front of your Invitation for Bids booklet.
