9/11/2008The Project Team will be attending the Fourth Annual Frederick Latino Festival on September 28, 2008 from Noon to 5:00 p.m. at Frederick Community College.
 
7/10/2008New design options for Alternative 3 have been developed and are being reviewed by the project team and the Interagency Review Group. A project newsletter was mailed to the general public in May.
 
3/31/2008The Project Team is preparing detailed engineering, environmental and traffic studies.
 
1/28/2008The Project Team is planning its public outreach efforts for 2008. These efforts will include project newsletters, community meetings and displays, and a brochure for the Location/Design Public Hearing.
 
11/14/2007The Project Team is addressing the public comments received during the Alternates Public Workshop and is preparing the Alternatives Retained for Detailed Study. Additional studies will be conducted along with more detailed engineering in preparation for the draft environmental document and the Location/Design Hearing scheduled for the Fall 2008.
 
10/17/2007The Project Team held an Alternates Public Workshop on October 17th 2007.

Display areas were set up explaining the purpose and need for the project, alternatives under consideration, potential environmental impacts, and related projects. No formal presentation was given.
