Frederick, MD 21701

Approximately 125 people attended the workshop which provided an opportunity for study team members to hear stakeholders' project-related comments, explain the project planning process, present the Purpose and Need Statement, and share the preliminary project findings. Maps of the alternatives presented at the workshop may be viewed on the Maps tab. Additional information presented at the workshop may be view in the Alternatives Public Workshop Brochure and in the Alternatives Public Workshop Display boards, both located on the Documents tab, under Alternates Public Workshop.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for study team members to hear your project-related comments, explain the project planning process, present the Purpose and Need Statement, and share the preliminary project findings. You may arrive at any time during Workshop hours and walk through at your own pace. There will be no formal presentation.

Maps of the preliminary alternatives under consideration will be available for review along with other exhibits, traffic data, and information on potential environmental impacts.

 
3/20/2017The Final Purpose and Need Document received Federal Highway Administration concurrence on February 17, 2017, and may be viewed on the documents page.
 
12/6/2016The Draft Purpose and Need Statement may be viewed on the Documents tab. Finalization is expected in January 2017.
