In mid-August, on or after 9 p.m. Friday August 10, 2018 there will be temporary single and double lane closures and temporary traffic stoppages on the I-695 inner and outer loops underneath the Crosby Road bridge to allow construction crews to set steel girders for the new bridge across all lanes of I-695.

This schedule is weather permitting and subject to change. Portable digital message signs will alert travelers in advance of the work.

Crews will work overnight and early morning hours from Friday night, August 10 until Thursday morning, August 15.

Friday night, August 10: Single left lane closure 9 p.m., then a double left lane closure at 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

There will be periodic traffic "drags" to slow traffic on I-695 and then total traffic stoppages by Maryland State Police. This will allow crews to move the steel girders over all lanes of I-695 and then set the girders in place for the new bridge. The total stoppages last approximately 15 minutes at a time.
