12/21/2018Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Public Meeting on December 20, 2018. If you were unable to attend, please see the Documents section of this website for the meeting displays.

The I-695 at I-70 Interchange is currently at the early development stage, collecting topographic surveys and investigating existing environmental resources in the study area.

The project is funded for $100 million for design and construction. It is not anticipated that all existing interchange movements will be maintained with the available budget. The major interstate to interstate connections will be maintained to preserve the regional flow of the highway network. Your input is needed to rank the Park and Ride Connections. Your input will be used to help shape the project.

12/7/2018We encourage you to attend the Public Open House on December 20, 2018 5:30-7:30 PM at Southwest Academy Cafeteria, 6200 Johnnycake Road, Gwynn Oak, MD. Project team members in attendance will hear your project related comments and you will have the opportunity to rank the interchange movements most important to you. MDOT SHA will not have detailed concepts but will show overall connections of interchange movements for public consideration. Attendees may view displays, speak with project representatives, and provide feedback on the proposed project. There will be no formal presentation. You may arrive at any time during the meeting hours.
 
11/7/2018The I-695 at I-70 Interchange project is fully funded for design and construction as a Design Build project. The project is currently at the early development stage, collecting topographic surveys, existing environmental resources, and preparing for a public open house on December 5, 2018, 5:30-7:30 PM at Southwest Academy.
