When will this impact me?
US 113, Worcester Highway
Location of Project:
TC40 - FIVE MILE BRANCH ROAD TO NORTH OF MD 365 (PUBLIC LANDING ROAD)
NORTH OF MD 365 TO NORTH OF FIVE MILE BRANCH ROAD - PHASE 4
The project is located in Worcester County and ties into the northern limit of US 113 – Phase I Design Build project, as well as the southern limit of US 113 - Phase III. The project includes the construction of two additional lanes for approximately 4.5 miles primarily along the west side of existing US 113. This results in an ultimate roadway of two lanes in each direction. The purpose of constructing the remaining two-lane section of US 113 (Worcester Highway) is to improve safety and traffic operations.
This project is moving forward as a Design-Build Project, similar to the rest of the Phases along the US 113 corridor.
Funding for Preliminary Engineering was re-established in September, 2012. Currently, this project is not funded for Right-of-Way Acquisition, Utility Relocations or Construction.
