MD 0210 INDIAN HEAD HIGHWAY LIVINGSTON ROAD/KERBY HILL ROAD INTERCHANGE
When will this impact me?
MD 210, Indian Head Highway
Location of Project:
LIVINGSTON ROAD/KERBY HILL ROAD INTERCHANGE
Reconstruct the existing MD 210 intersection at Kerby Hill Road/Livingston Road to a grade separated interchange. Bicycles and pedestrians will be accommodated where appropriate.
This project, addresses safety and improves the existing severe and frequent traffic congestion at the MD 210 intersection with Kerby Hill Road. The project will maintain the existing three through lanes in each direction on MD 210. The median opening will be closed and the traffic signal removed at Wilson Bridge Drive, allowing right in, right out movements only. The MD 210 / Kerby Hill Road intersection will be a grade separation with interchange ramps in the northeast and southwest quadrants of Kerby Hill Road. The proposed relocated Kerby Hill Road is realigned to the north side of the existing roadway on the west side of MD 210 for better geometrics and maintenance of traffic. The project begins 700' north of Wilson Bridge Drive and extends south along MD 210 to 2100' south of Kerby Hill Road for a totol distance of approximately 1.0 mile. The project also extends from 1000' west of MD 210 on Kerby Hill Road to 1000' east of MD 210 on Livingston Road for a distance of approximately 0.40 mile.
