Description:
Construct landscaped median with sidewalk and crosswalk improvements from MD 208 (Hamilton Street) to the D.C. Line (1.2 miles).
 
Scope:
The purpose of this project is to address pedestrian and roadway safety issues, drainage issues, improve traffic conditions, and protect and enhance the environmental quality throughout the residential and business communities. The proposed improvements for this project include constructing raised medians and ADA compliant sidewalks, roadway reconstruction and/or resurfacing, providing bike lanes, replacing/upgrading existing signals, roadway drainage improvements and landscaping.
