Scope:
The purpose of the MD 223 Corridor Planning study is to establish a vision for the corridor. The corridor plan will be used to identify potential short-term transportation improvements which could range from implementation of bicycle and pedestrian facilities to intersection improvements. Long-term improvements will also be indentified which could lead to future long range planning studies.
 
What Is Under Study:
Study activities will include an evaluation of the corridor features and development of concepts. The concepts developed may include but are not limited to capacity improvements, intersection improvements, interchange improvements, access management, local road connectivity, bicycle and pedestrian safety and mobility.
