Pavement Markings – Correct pavement markings, which guide traffic flow, can be found in the Maryland Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and the Maryland Supplement to MUTCD (see “where to find more on Maryland Standards” section). Lane lines between traffic lanes in the same direction must be white. Arrows on the pavement must be white. Turn arrows may require signage.
Stop line and crosswalk must be white. Crosswalk must be white. Parking space string must be white.
Yield line must be white. Center line between traffic in opposing direction must be yellow. Handicap space symbol must be white, may have a blue background.
